Learning Permaculture for Social Development (LPSD)

LPSD creates initiatives and programs that have supported Orphaned and Vulnerable Children located in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. They are currently members of the Affiliate Program with The Sanctuary Network and are working to provide food programs and basic needs for the children in the camp.

Sahaya International


Sahaya International is a volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, based in Davis, California. It is a network of friends who volunteer their time to build awareness and support for grassroots organization in developing countries (especially India, Uganda and Kenya) that take care of orphans and vulnerable children, and implement healthcare, education, environmental and socio-economic grassroots programs. Banyabutumbi Cultural Heritage Organization-Kanungu (BACHO-K)

Banyabutumbi Cultural Heritage Organization-Kanungu (BACHO-K) is a community based organization operating in Southwestern Uganda. It was started in 2017 with the purpose of proving care and support for orphans and other vulnerable children, family and community welfare and environmental conservation issues. BACHO-K focuses on orphans care and support through providing accommodation to homeless orphans and other vulnerable children including children living with Hiv/AIDS. Currently we have 3 dormitories that accommodate over 120 children. Also, we have 27 youth who stay at BACHO-K in 3 rooms. These dormitories are located in Rwenshama fishing community in Queen Elizabeth National Park and at the showers of Lake Edward.
